2023
The International Week of Tallinn Health Care College took place from November 6–10, 2023, in Tallinn, bringing together healthcare professionals and academic staff from various countries. Participants included international guests from Albania, France, Bulgaria, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Austria, Poland, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Portugal, and Finland.
Throughout the week, a diverse range of workshops and seminars were held. Activities also included components of the Erasmus+ cooperation project titled “Innovative, equally accessible teaching model for infection control: from nursing students to the general population.”
One of the week’s highlights was the international 5-star nursing conference, featuring leading experts in the field.
Special attention was given to a workshop for nursing educators, led by Professor Kristi Rannus and former NANDA President Carme Espinosa (Spain). The training, titled “International workshop for nursing teachers using standardised classifications of nursing diagnoses, interventions and outcomes,” provided valuable insights into the use of standardized nursing classifications.
In addition to the academic program, the international guests visited East Tallinn Central Hospital and the KUMU Art Museum, offering a chance to explore both Estonia’s healthcare system and cultural landscape.
