The first joint International Week of Tallinn Health Care College and TTK University of Applied Sciences took place 03.11.-07.11.2014. The main subjects of the week were intercultural communication and culturally safe nursing.  Participants were from  8 different countries: Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Turkey, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Slovenia and Kyrgyzstan.

The second joint International Week of Tallinn Health Care College and TTK University of Applied Sciences took place 2.11-6.11.2015. This time the week was aimed at administrative staff, but teachers were also welcome as always.

The third joint International Week of Tallinn Health Care College and TTK University of Applied Sciences took place 31.10.-4.11.2016. The aim of the international week  was to promote the cooperation between the teachers and staff of partner universities, the circulation of ideas and the sharing of best practices.  Participants were from 23 countries: Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, Russia, Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Germany, Hungary, Austria, check republic, Bulgaria, Spain, Portugal, Slovenia, Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Thailand.

The forth joint International Week of Tallinn Health Care College and TTK University of Applied Sciences took place 7.-10.11.2017. The aim of the international week  was to promote the cooperation, circulation of ideas and the sharing of best practices between Tallinn health Care College, TTK UAS and partner universities. 57 participants were from 18 countries: Check Republic, Hungary, Germany, Bulgaria, Turkey, Georgia, France, Spain, Italy, United Kingdom, Lithuania, Albania, Portugal, Finland, Belgium, Latvia, Poland, Slovenia and Denmark.

The fifth joint International Week “Prevention. Risk. Responsibility”  of Tallinn Health Care College,  TTK University of Applied Sciences and the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences  took place 5. – 9.11.2018.  The guests got an overview of all three institutions and their laboratories and simulation labs. The main focus was on practical exercises: guests had the possibility to participate in simulations and rescuers exercise a day in Väike-Maarja study complex, where they could practice smoke-diving and surface rescue.

We invite you to participate either with an oral presentation or a virtual poster on the subject Addressing Chronic Wound (pressure ulcer or venous ulcer).

Lifelong-Learning Centre is Tallinn Health University of Applied Sciences´s unit which consists of a  language learning area, a continuing education area and a library. The centre offers modern professional services in the field of  language learning,  continuing education as well as  library services to the UAS´s students, staff, alumni and to all other people interested in the field of health care and wellbeing throughout  the lifespan.
